The California Traverse follows ultra-runners Cole Mueller and William Stull as they lead a 640-mile relay run from Solana Beach to San Francisco. Over five days, the team faced extreme elevation shifts, unpredictable weather, and physical and mental strain. The film captures not only the grit of the runners but also the camaraderie of the crew, the beauty of California’s coastal highways, and the story of human endurance and teamwork. Produced by Obsidian Studios, the project combines cinematic visuals, intimate interviews, and a driving original score to create a visceral narrative of perseverance.
